Chapter Nine

Now that I revealed my past to Holli the other night in the car, I figured what harm would be done if I had her meet Libby, so I made plans for her to come over for lunch and hang out with us. I spent the morning giving extra attention to my daughter. Libby may have been going on two, but she was very smart, thanks to me and my parents. What she did possess of her mother was her jealous streak and had thrown fits if a sales associate at the grocery store paid me too much attention. I just prayed that Libby liked Holli and could get along with her because I was really feeling her. However, if my baby wasn’t feeling her, then I was gonna have to walk away.

After rocking out to “Baby Shark” for two straight hours, Libby tired herself out, so I put her down for a nap while waiting for Holli to arrive. I was thankful because it would give me and Holli some alone time. Not to mention that it may make the introduction easier if Libby woke up to Holli already being in the house.

Fifteen minutes later, I heard a light tap on the door and knew it wasn’t anyone but Holli. With a bright smile on my face, I opened the door, and like always, her beauty took my breath away. There was something about her youthful appearance that continued to draw me in. She didn’t have a video vixen body, but her tiny, petite frame matched the softness of her face.

“Mmm, baby, you smell good,” I said, hugging her short ass.

“Thank you. I’m wearing the perfume you bought me the other night. Where’s Libby? I bought her something.”

The other night after making up, the four of us did our holiday shopping together, and of course, I got my lady some things along the way. At first, she tried to argue with me about it, but Rudie gave her a little pep talk, and she finally allowed me to spoil her some. Little did she know, I had already gotten a few gifts that I wanted to give her for Christmas, and for a second, I wasn’t sure I’d be able to. Rudie’s uptight ass even relaxed and was full of smiles that evening. I didn’t know what Snow did to get her to lighten up, but I wasn’t shocked. The ladies had a hard time resisting his ass.

“And what did you bring for me?” I questioned, focusing back on the present.

“Me, but you ain’t ready for all that,” Holli stated.

“Keep it up, woman, and you gonna get what you been asking for, and once I take it there, ain’t no turning back. You thought I turned stalker after you and Bubbles fought, that’s nothing in comparison if the pussy good and you try to keep it from me,” I warned.

Holli walked into my living room and took a seat while placing a gift bag next to her. It wasn’t any small bag either, so I was curious as to what she bought for Libby.
